Designing, dallying and dwelling

Many, many moons ago, I used to actually develop the web sites I would design. This was, of course, when everyone still used tables and boy did I use tables! Now—CSS is king and rightfully so (it was still really new and kinda sketchy, in my opinion, overall). Unfortunately, my career took a turn for the in-house. That’s not necessarily bad. For me, however, it was as in-house typically means there are dedicated people for specific tasks. Web development was one such task; designing for web was another, for which I was hired at my first client side affair.
